Weekender Client Terms

Weekender LLC · Last updated November 2, 2026

By booking, you agree to these terms. Checking the agreement box is your electronic signature and has the same effect as signing on paper. You agree to receive these terms, receipts and notices electronically, and you can ask us for a free paper copy anytime. They apply to every Weekender visit: recurring visits (weekly, bi-weekly or monthly), first visits, one-time visits, open houses, vacation rentals and add-ons, including visits a realtor or property manager books. If anything here conflicts with federal, Arizona or local law, the law comes first, and nothing here limits a right the law gives you.

Who can book: you must be at least 18 and either the owner of the home, someone living there with the owner's permission, or an agent or manager the owner has authorized. If you rent, you're responsible for any permission your lease requires.

Questions or changes: call or text 602-520-8777, or email hello@weekendercleaning.com. We send notices about your service, including changes to these terms, to the email address on your account, so please keep it current.

Mailing address for formal notices and forms: Weekender LLC, 4539 N. 22nd St. #6272, Phoenix, AZ 85016.

Your Visit

  • Weekender is exterior housekeeping for homes in Phoenix, Scottsdale and Paradise Valley. Every visit is a reset of your outdoor living spaces, not a restoration. Some marks, like hard-water spots, stains, oxidation or sun fading, need a specialist, and we're happy to refer you to one.
  • We don't offer landscaping, organizing, pool chemistry or equipment service, power washing, roof or gutter cleaning, pest control, trash bin washing, window washing beyond the glass in your quote, or repairs and restoration. At the pool, we brush the waterline and skim the surface only; your pool company handles water chemistry and equipment.
  • Garage: we sweep and mop the open floor space in your garage. To reach the floor, we'll move a few smaller items, such as golf clubs, scooters or bikes, and put them back where they were. We don't move large amounts of stored items, and we don't organize your garage or belongings.
  • A light debris blow and pick-up is included. Bulk debris removal is an add-on for homes without a landscaper: we haul it away, up to one trash can's worth per charge.
  • Pet waste pickup is included on every visit at no extra charge, however much there is. It goes into your trash bin.
  • You don't need to be home during visits, as long as we can get in. We work outdoors and in your garage only; we never enter the inside of your home.
  • Arrival time: we do our very best to arrive as close as possible to your scheduled time; however, the exact arrival time may vary by up to 30 minutes in either direction. If we'll be later than that, we'll text you, and you can choose to have us come or reschedule at no charge.
  • Visit length: your price is set per visit, not by the minute. Some visits run a little shorter or longer than others, depending on what your spaces need that day.
  • Your crew: we schedule our trained team members by route, so the people on your visit may change from time to time. Every crew follows the same Weekender standard.
  • Service area: if a home outside Phoenix, Scottsdale or Paradise Valley is booked, we'll let you know and cancel the booking at no charge.

Access, gates and pets

  • Please make sure we can get in, with an unlocked gate or a working gate code and access to your garage. Tell us about any HOA rules, such as parking, gate procedures or quiet hours, and we'll follow them.
  • We close and latch every gate we open, including pool gates and barriers. Please tell us about any gate, latch or fence that doesn't close properly.
  • Please keep all pets inside your home during visits. Our crew opens and closes your gates as we work, so this keeps your pets safe. We don't walk, feed or care for pets, and we're not responsible for a pet that gets out through a gate, door or fence that was open, broken or unsecured when we arrived, or that someone else opened during the visit.

Before and during your visit

  • We move cushions and light furniture to reset your spaces. We don't move heavy, fragile or high-value items, such as large planters, statues or art; if you'd like an area under them reset, please move them ahead of time.
  • Please bring inside, or point out to us, anything that shouldn't get wet, such as electronics, paper goods or fabrics that aren't made for outdoor use.
  • Tell us about any surface that needs special care, such as natural stone, unsealed wood or a specialty finish. We may skip a surface we can't safely reset with our usual methods, and we'll let you know.
  • Surfaces may be wet and slippery during and shortly after a visit, so please take care around rinsed areas.

Your Price

  • Your price is the visit price shown in your quote and at checkout. It's based on what you enter in our quote tool, such as yard size, pets and glass panes.
  • If your first visit runs 15% or more past its quoted time because your home differs from those details, we'll send you an updated price before your next visit. You can accept it, or end service with no first-visit re-billing. We never re-bill a completed visit for this.
  • Add-ons you request from our crew on site, such as extra glass panes, are added to that visit at your quote's add-on rates. Before we do the extra work, we'll confirm the added cost with you by text or email, and we only add it once you say yes. Services we don't offer stay off the list, even on request.
  • After-event pick-ups are billed by the trash bins we actually fill.
  • Your price doesn't rise on a schedule. When we update our prices, the new prices are for new clients. Your price stays the same while your plan is active, unless your plan or home changes under these terms.
  • Your price, plan and any discount belong to the home on your account. They can't be transferred to another person or home, except as these terms allow for moving.

How your visit time is set

  • Our quote tool sets how much time we reserve on our calendar for your visit, based on the details you enter, and our crew's day is planned around that time.
  • Buildup: if your outdoor spaces haven't been reset in more than 30 days, or you're not sure, they need more time. Our quote tool reserves at least 25% more time for your first visit, one-time visit or open house (rounded up to our next visit length), at the price for that longer visit. On a recurring plan, this applies to your first visit only, and your regular price doesn't change.
  • Unusual messes, such as a big party mess, storm debris or construction dust, aren't covered by the instant quote. Call or text us, and we'll plan the time you need.
  • If we arrive to buildup or a mess your quote didn't include, we'll text you before doing any extra work. You can approve added time, if our schedule allows, billed in 15-minute blocks at the same hourly rate as your booked visit. Or we'll reset as much as fits in your booked time, starting with the areas you choose, and offer a return visit for the rest. If we can't reach you, we'll use your booked time only. We never add a charge without your OK.
  • Areas we couldn't reach in your booked time because of buildup or a mess your quote didn't include aren't covered by the Reset Promise.
  • Pet waste never counts as buildup. Pickup is always included at no extra charge.

First-Visit Pricing (Recurring Plans)

Unlike many companies, we don't charge more for your first visit, unless it's been more than 30 days since your outdoor spaces were last reset.

  • Reset within the past 30 days: your first visit is billed at your regular price.
  • More than 30 days, or you're not sure: your first visit is booked longer for buildup and billed at the price for that longer visit (see How Your Visit Time Is Set). Your regular price starts with your second visit.

Your first-visit price is for clients who stay on a recurring plan, so:

  • If you end recurring service before your third completed visit, we re-bill your first visit at the one-time rate, minus what you already paid for it.
  • If you restart within 6 months of ending, your first visit back is billed at the one-time rate. Your recurring price resumes after that.
  • Neither re-billing rule applies if you cancel before your first visit, cancel under your 3-day right to cancel, receive a refund under the Reset Promise, move (see Changing Your Plan), end service for a reason under Life Changes, end service because of a change we make under When We Change or End Service, or Weekender ends your service for any reason other than one under Client Conduct.

Payment

  • You save a card when you book. Nothing is charged until a visit is complete; then your card on file is charged for that visit.
  • Card authorization: by saving a card, you authorize Weekender to charge it for completed visits, add-ons you request, and the fees and charges described in these terms, until you end service and your balance is paid. Payments are processed by Stripe, and we never see or store your full card number.
  • Late-cancellation and lockout fees, and any extra time you approve on site, are also charged to your card on file.
  • Please keep your card current. If a charge fails, we'll let you know and hold your next visit until the balance is paid.
  • We're not responsible for overdraft or other fees your bank charges.
  • Questions about a charge? Contact us first. Billing errors and duplicate charges are refunded in full. If you dispute a charge for a completed visit with your bank instead, we may pause service until the dispute is resolved.

Booking, Rescheduling and Canceling

Your visit holds a spot on our crew's route, so we ask for notice when plans change. Use the reschedule or cancel link in your confirmation email, call or text 602-520-8777, or email hello@weekendercleaning.com. Notice counts when we receive it. Messages left with crew members on site don't count as notice.

Booking ahead:

  • Every visit: book any open time at least 24 hours ahead. This includes recurring visits, first visits, one-time visits and open houses.

Notice to reschedule or cancel:

  • Every visit: 24 hours

Fees:

  • With 24 hours' notice or more: no fee
  • With less than 24 hours' notice: 50% of the visit price
  • Same day, or our crew arrives and can't get in (a "lockout"): the full visit price
  • Courtesy pass: we waive your first late-cancellation fee each calendar year. It doesn't apply to lockouts.
  • Lockouts include locked or blocked gates, wrong gate or garage codes, loose pets that keep us from working safely, someone at the home asking the crew to leave, or our crew leaving a visit for a reason under Client Conduct.
  • Weather: see Weather and Events Outside Our Control, below.
  • Holidays: Weekender is closed on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day and New Year's Day. If your visit falls on one of those days, we'll reach out ahead of time to reschedule it at no charge. If there's no open time before your next scheduled visit, we'll skip it at no charge. Either way, it never counts as one of your skips.
  • If Weekender needs to cancel, we'll tell you as early as we can and reschedule at no charge. A visit we cancel never counts as one of your skips. If it leaves more than 30 days between visits, we may reserve extra time for your next visit, but it's billed at your regular price.

Weather and Events Outside Our Control

Why we stop for weather

Our crew works outdoors with water, metal tools and electric equipment. Rain, thunder and lightning make that unsafe, so we don't work in them. We also stop for monsoon storms, high winds, dust storms, flooding, dangerous heat and other unsafe conditions. Your crew lead makes the call based on conditions at your home. If thunder is heard or lightning is seen during a visit, the crew stops and takes shelter, and only goes back to work once it's safe.

If weather affects your visit

  • We'll let you know by text or email as early as we can, whether it's before your visit or while we're there.
  • You choose: reschedule to the next open time, or cancel that visit. Either way, there's no fee.
  • If there's no open time before your next scheduled visit, we may need to skip that visit. A weather skip is free and never counts as one of your skips. If it leaves more than 30 days between visits, we may reserve extra time for your next visit, but it's billed at your regular price.
  • If we have to stop partway through a visit, we'll come back to finish it if there's an open time. If we can't, you'll pay only for the part we completed.

Other events outside our control

The same rules apply when we can't make or finish a visit because of something we couldn't reasonably prevent, such as a vehicle breakdown or accident, a crew member's sudden illness or injury, an equipment failure, road closures, a water or power outage, or an emergency.

Special occasions

We know many visits are booked before a party, a holiday, house guests or an open house. We'll do everything reasonable to reset your spaces before your event, and we'll offer you our earliest open time if a visit has to move. But because weather and these events are outside our control, we can't guarantee that a visit will happen on a certain date or before a certain event.

By booking, you agree that if a visit is delayed, rescheduled, skipped or not completed for a reason in this section, you won't hold Weekender responsible for any resulting loss, such as the costs of an event, a home that isn't ready for guests, a showing or a rental check-in, or lost rental income. Your remedy is the rescheduling or no-charge cancellation described above, and a refund of anything you paid for the part of the visit we didn't complete. This doesn't apply if a visit was missed because of our gross negligence or willful misconduct, and it doesn't limit any right the law gives you.

Your Recurring Plan: Skips, Pauses and Changes

Your recurring plan continues, and your card on file is charged after each completed visit, until you end it under Ending Service. There's no minimum commitment and no contract term. Your visit length and price are set by how often we come, so they assume you keep your schedule. Here's exactly how much flexibility your plan includes.

Rescheduling a visit

  • Free with 24 hours' notice, as often as you need.
  • The new time has to be before your next scheduled visit. If nothing works before then, it counts as a skip.

Skipping a visit

  • Free with 24 hours' notice.
  • Skips included each calendar year: 4 on a weekly plan, 2 on a bi-weekly plan, 1 on a monthly plan. If you start partway through the year, your skips for that first year are prorated by the months left, rounded up. Unused skips don't carry over to the next year.
  • You can skip up to 2 visits in a row and keep your day and time. A third skip in a row becomes a pause.
  • If you use more skips than your plan includes, we'll move your plan to the frequency you're actually using, at that frequency's price. We'll tell you before the change.

Pausing your plan

  • Pause anytime with 24 hours' notice, for up to 6 months (or longer for a medical pause, below). Pauses don't count against your skips.
  • A pause releases your recurring day and time. When you're ready to come back, we'll book you into the closest open time.
  • Your price stays the same while you're paused.
  • After 6 months, your plan closes. Coming back is a restart at our current prices: your first visit back is booked under First-Visit Pricing and How Your Visit Time Is Set.

Medical pause

  • If you need to pause because of a serious illness or injury, or because you're caring for a spouse or family member with a serious illness or injury, just let us know. We won't ask for medical records or details.
  • A medical pause can last as long as you need, including past 6 months, and your plan stays open the whole time.
  • When you're ready to come back, we'll reserve the extra time your home needs, but your first visit back is billed at your regular price.
  • As with any pause, your recurring day and time aren't held, and we'll book you into the closest open time when you return. Your price stays the same while you're paused.
  • If the illness or injury comes up suddenly, we'll waive the late-cancellation fee on your next scheduled visit.

Coming back after more than 30 days

If your home goes more than 30 days without a visit because of a skip or a pause (for example, a skipped month on a monthly plan), it needs more time. We'll book your first visit back at least 25% longer (rounded up to our next visit length), at the price for that longer visit, and let you know the price before your visit. After that, you're back to your regular visit and price.

Changing your plan

  • Visit frequency: change it anytime with 24 hours' notice before your next visit. Your new price comes from our quote tool for that frequency, and your day and time may change. Changing frequency doesn't restart First-Visit Pricing: visits you've already completed still count.
  • Day or time: ask anytime, and we'll move you to an open time on our route.
  • Add-ons: add or remove them anytime before a visit.
  • Your home: if something changes, like new turf, more glass or a new outdoor kitchen, tell us and we'll update your price before your next visit.
  • Moving or selling: your plan ends with your last visit at that home, with no first-visit re-billing. Your new home gets its own quote.

Vacation Rentals

  • You choose how visits are scheduled: keep a regular day and time, like any recurring plan, even when guests are staying, or book each visit yourself around your guests' checkouts, with the booking link we send after your first visit. If you book your own visits, book early: turnover times can fill up, and we can't guarantee an open time on a specific day or hold a time you haven't booked.
  • Your price is based on the visit frequency you choose. If you book your own visits and they end up further apart, we'll move you to the frequency you're actually using, at that frequency's price, and tell you first.
  • Every visit ends with a photo report of your outdoor spaces.
  • If you ask, we'll set your outdoor spaces up guest-ready, such as pool floats out and furniture arranged like your listing photos, at no extra cost.
  • Book visits for times when guests aren't using the outdoor spaces, or tell us ahead of time if guests will be there.
  • You're responsible for letting guests know we're coming. If a guest blocks access or asks the crew to leave, it counts as a lockout.
  • Report any Reset Promise concern before your next guests check in. Anything guests do after our visit isn't covered by the Reset Promise or the Damage section.

The Weekender Reset Promise

We stand behind our work: if you aren't completely satisfied with your service, we'll return to make it right or give you a full refund.

What it covers

Every part of the reset on your visit, plus any add-ons on that visit.

How to use it

  • Tell us within 24 hours of your visit by call, text or email, with photos if you can, and let us know what you'd like fixed.
  • For a visit before an event, an open house or a guest check-in, tell us before it begins, even if that's sooner than 24 hours.
  • Tell us whether you'd like a return visit or a refund of that visit. Refunds have a limit, explained below.
  • Once the 24 hours pass, or your event, open house or check-in begins, whichever comes first, the visit is final.

Return visits

  • We'll come back within 2 business days, at a time that works for you, and redo the parts you weren't happy with, at no charge.
  • A return visit needs the same access as a regular visit. If we can't get in at the time we agreed, the original visit stands as completed.
  • If the return visit still doesn't make it right, we'll refund that visit in full. That refund doesn't count as your one refund below, and your plan continues unless you choose to end it.

Refunds

  • A refund covers the full price you paid for that visit, including add-ons on that visit. It doesn't include late-cancellation or lockout fees.
  • You can choose a refund instead of a return visit once per household. After that, the Reset Promise means we return to make it right.
  • If you choose a refund instead of a return visit, your recurring plan closes, and first-visit re-billing doesn't apply.
  • Refunds go back to your original payment method within 10 business days of approval. Amounts paid by gift card go back to the gift card, and refunds for visits a realtor or property manager booked go to whoever paid for them.

What it doesn't cover

  • Services we don't offer, and any part of the reset you asked us to skip.
  • Conditions that existed before your visit, such as stains, oxidation, hard-water etching, sun fading or worn finishes.
  • Anything that happens after we leave, including dust, debris, leaves, bird droppings, pet activity, wind, monsoon or dust storms, irrigation overspray, or use of your spaces by your household, guests, landscaper or pool service.
  • Areas we couldn't reach in your booked time because of buildup or a mess your quote didn't include (see How Your Visit Time Is Set).
  • Areas we couldn't reach because of access problems, stored items, safety hazards or weather. A visit cut short by weather is handled under Weather and Events Outside Our Control.
  • Damage to your property, which is handled under Damage below, with its own 48-hour window.

A final visit never limits your 3-day right to cancel, refunds for billing errors, or any other right the law gives you.

Damage

We take great care with your home. If we damage something:

  • Tell us within 48 hours, with photos if you can.
  • Please let us see the damage before anything is repaired, replaced or thrown away.
  • You choose how we make it right: we'll replace it with a comparable item, or reimburse you for its value. If it can be repaired and you'd prefer that, we'll arrange the repair instead.
  • To set an item's value, we'll use its receipt, the current price of a comparable item, or a written estimate from an independent repair professional. If we can't agree on the value, we'll get an estimate from an independent professional we both accept, and that estimate sets the value.
  • Weekender carries general liability, workers' compensation and commercial auto insurance. We'll send a certificate of insurance to you, your HOA or your property manager on request.
  • Not covered: pre-existing conditions; normal wear; items that were already loose, broken or improperly installed; and items that shouldn't get wet that weren't brought inside or pointed out to us.

Your Home: Pets, Safety, Water and Power

Your pets

  • You're responsible for your pets and their behavior during visits.
  • Please keep all pets inside your home during visits. Our crew opens and closes your gates as we work, and some pets may bite, jump on or chase our team.
  • If your pet injures a team member, you're responsible as Arizona law provides. If your pet damages our equipment, you'll reimburse the cost to repair or replace it.
  • If a pet keeps us from working safely, our crew will skip the affected area or leave, and it's handled as a lockout.

Hazards

  • Please keep your outdoor spaces free of hazards that could injure our team, and tell us before your visit about any you know of, such as broken or loose pavers, steps or railings; damaged outlets or exposed wiring; broken glass or sharp edges; unstable furniture or structures; bee or wasp nests; or a recent pesticide, fertilizer or chemical treatment by your landscaper or pest control company.
  • If anyone in your household, or any pet, is sensitive to cleaning products, tell us before your visit. We're happy to share what we use.
  • An adult needs to be responsible for children during visits. Our crew can't supervise them.
  • Our crew may skip any area that isn't safe to work in, such as one with bees or wasps, a snake, an aggressive animal, needles, human waste or a dead animal. We'll let you know what we skipped.
  • If a hazard you knew about and didn't tell us about keeps us from completing your visit, it's handled as a lockout.

Water and power

  • Please have working outdoor water (a spigot with normal water pressure) and a working outdoor electrical outlet available for every visit.
  • The water and electricity we use during visits are part of your service. We don't pay for them, and we don't reimburse or credit you for them.
  • For safety, our crew may decline to use an outlet that looks damaged or isn't a weather-protected (GFCI) outlet.
  • If your water is off or your spigot isn't working and we can't complete your visit, it's handled as a lockout, unless the outage was outside your control, such as a city water main break.

Photos, Privacy and Messages

  • Our crew may take photos during visits, such as existing conditions on your first visit, to keep a record of our work. We don't photograph people for our records.
  • We take photos and video for our website, social media and marketing, but never at your home without your written permission on our Photo and Video Consent Form. You can withdraw that permission anytime. Our Privacy Policy at https://www.weekendercleaning.com/privacy explains how we handle this content.
  • We keep your address, schedule, gate codes, access details and anything we see at your home confidential. We share them only with our team, for your visits, or when the law requires it.
  • By booking, you agree to receive texts, emails and calls about your service and account, such as confirmations, reminders, visit updates and questions about your balance. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out of texts, or HELP for help; you'll still receive emails. We won't send you marketing texts without your separate permission, and agreeing to marketing messages is never a condition of booking.

Realtors and Property Managers

Realtors and property managers can book visits, including open houses and listing photos, at homes they represent or manage, with the homeowner's permission. Everyone pays the same prices.

  • By booking, the realtor or property manager confirms they have the homeowner's permission for the visit.
  • The person booking chooses a visit time that works for the open house, showing or photographer.
  • They're responsible for access and notice, and any fees are charged to the card used to book.
  • Booking ahead, notice, late-cancellation and lockout fees, and the yearly courtesy pass work the same as for any other visit.

Promo and Referral Codes

  • Promo codes: one per household, can't be combined with another discount, and expire on the date shown.
  • Referral rewards start after the referred household's second visit and count only while that household stays active. A household can't refer itself.
  • A code used outside these terms is billed at the regular price.

Gift Cards

  • Weekender gift cards can be used toward any Weekender visit or add-on. Enter your gift card code at checkout when you book.
  • Gift card funds never expire, and our gift cards carry no fees of any kind.
  • Any unused balance stays on your card for future visits. If a visit costs more than your balance, the rest is charged to your card on file.
  • Gift cards can't be redeemed for cash, except where the law requires it.
  • Lost or damaged card? Contact us with the card number or proof of purchase, and we'll replace it with the remaining balance.
  • Complimentary promotional cards that we give away, with nothing paid for them, aren't gift cards under these terms. They may carry an expiration date, which will be printed on the card.

Our Team

  • Tipping is never expected. Our team is fairly compensated, and hospitality is included in every visit. If you'd still like to tip, you're welcome to give it directly to your crew. A review or referral is always a lovely thank-you too.
  • No side work: our team members can't take on work for you outside your Weekender service, whether during a visit or on their own time, paid or unpaid. Please don't ask or offer. If you need something we don't offer, let us know and we'll refer you to a specialist we trust.

Client Conduct

Our team members are guests at your home, and we ask that they be treated with the same respect and care they bring to every visit.

Respect for our team

These rules apply to you and to everyone at your home during a visit, including family members, guests, tenants and other workers, and to every way you contact us: in person, by phone, text, email or online.

  • No harassment, threats, intimidation, yelling or abusive language.
  • No unwanted touching, sexual comments or advances, or sexual content of any kind.
  • No insults or different treatment based on race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability or any other characteristic protected by law.
  • No asking our team to do anything unsafe or illegal, or to break these terms.
  • Please reach our team through our office channels (602-520-8777 or hello@weekendercleaning.com), not team members' personal phone numbers or social media accounts.

If something happens during a visit

  • Our crew may pause or leave a visit at any time if they feel unsafe or are treated in a way these terms don't allow. They'll leave calmly and let our office know.
  • A visit our crew leaves for one of these reasons is billed as a lockout under Booking, Rescheduling and Canceling, and it isn't covered by the Reset Promise.
  • We'll follow up with you in writing about what happened.

Fraud and abuse

These are also against these terms:

  • Knowingly giving false information to get a lower price, a discount or a refund. Honest mistakes in your quote are handled under Your Price.
  • Using a promo, referral or gift card code you're not entitled to, or sharing or selling a code.
  • Making a false or exaggerated Reset Promise or damage claim.
  • Knowingly filing a false chargeback or payment dispute with your bank.
  • Booking a home without the authority described under Who Can Book, or paying with a card you're not authorized to use.

What happens

  • Depending on what happened, we may give you a written warning first, or end your service right away. Threats, violence, unwanted touching, sexual harassment, discrimination and fraud are grounds for ending service immediately, without a warning.
  • We'll tell you in writing by email, and cancel all of your upcoming visits.
  • Completed visits and fees owed under these terms are charged as usual, and First-Visit Pricing re-billing applies. A visit, discount or refund obtained through fraud is re-billed at our regular price.
  • We'll refund any unused gift card balance, unless the card was obtained through fraud.
  • We may decline future bookings from you or your household.
  • We may decline a Reset Promise or damage claim we reasonably believe is false.
  • We may report threats, assault, theft or card fraud to law enforcement, and pursue any other remedy the law allows.

What we'll never do

  • We'll never end or refuse service for a reason the law prohibits, including any characteristic protected by law.
  • We'll never end your service, charge you a fee or take any action against you because you left an honest review, made a good-faith complaint, or disputed a charge with your bank in good faith.
  • Ending your service never takes away a refund that the law or these terms give you, such as a refund for a billing error.

Ending Service

You can end your recurring plan anytime, including while it's paused, with no cancellation fee.

How to end your plan

Choose either way:

  • Email us: send your request in writing to hello@weekendercleaning.com from the email address on your account. Include your name, your service address, and the date you'd like your last visit to be, or say you'd like to end right away. If you write from a different email address, we may call you to confirm before we close your plan.
  • Cancel in Acuity: cancel your upcoming visits yourself with the cancel link in any confirmation or reminder email, or in your Acuity client account. Acuity cancels one visit at a time, so cancel every upcoming visit to end your plan. Canceling only some of your visits counts as skips under Your Recurring Plan.

If you call or text us to end your plan, we'll ask you to confirm by email, so we both have it in writing.

Timing

  • Your request takes effect when we receive it. Send it at least 24 hours before your next scheduled visit, or that visit's late-cancellation fee applies. Acuity won't let you cancel a visit online within 24 hours of it, so email us instead.
  • We'll cancel all of your upcoming visits and confirm by email within 1 business day. Please keep that email for your records. If you don't hear from us within 2 business days, call or text 602-520-8777 so nothing slips through.

After your plan ends

  • Completed visits, and any fees owed under these terms, are charged to your card on file as usual. Nothing else is charged after your final balance is paid, and you can ask us to remove your saved card anytime after that.
  • If your plan ends before your third completed visit, see First-Visit Pricing.
  • Any gift card balance stays available for future visits.

Life changes

If a client passes away, or can no longer continue service because of a serious illness or disability, the client or their family can end service anytime by email or phone. No notice period, late-cancellation fee or first-visit re-billing applies, and we'll cancel any upcoming visits right away.

When we change or end service

  • You can end your plan right away if we stop serving your address, can't serve your home for more than 30 days in a row, make a substantial change to what's included in every visit, or transfer your plan to a new owner of Weekender. No notice period, late-cancellation fee or first-visit re-billing applies. If Weekender is ever sold, we'll tell you in writing.
  • Weekender may end service with written notice, effective right away, for an unpaid balance, unsafe conditions at your home (such as aggressive animals), or a reason under Client Conduct.
  • Weekender may also end service for any other lawful reason with at least 14 days' written notice. Your upcoming visits during those 14 days continue as scheduled unless you'd rather end sooner.

Your 3-Day Right to Cancel

If you sign up at your home, for example during an in-person walk-through, you can cancel within 3 business days for a full refund, no reason needed. You'll get two copies of the cancellation form when you sign, and we'll schedule your first visit after those 3 days. To cancel, sign and date one copy of the form, or any written note saying you're canceling, and mail or deliver it to Weekender LLC, 4539 N. 22nd St. #6272, Phoenix, AZ 85016, or email it to hello@weekendercleaning.com. It counts as on time if it's postmarked, delivered or emailed by midnight of the third business day. Business days are every day except Sundays and federal holidays, so if you sign up on a Monday, you have until midnight Thursday. We'll refund every payment within 10 business days of receiving it. Signing up online or by phone isn't covered by that rule, but nothing is charged until your first visit is complete, so you can cancel before then at no cost with the notice above.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms. Changes apply to visits booked after the update, and recurring clients get at least 30 days' notice before a change affects them, including any change to their price.

Only written changes count. Crew members can't change or waive these terms, or promise anything outside them. Any change to your service or to these terms comes in writing from our office.

Limitation of Liability, Governing Law and Disputes

Please read this section carefully. It limits what Weekender is responsible for and explains how disagreements are resolved. Nothing in it limits a right the law gives you.

1. Definitions. As used in this section, "Weekender" means Weekender LLC, together with its members, managers, employees and agents; "Client" means each person who books, receives or pays for Services; and "Services" means all visits, add-ons and other services provided under these Terms.

2. Exclusion of Certain Damages. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL WEEKENDER BE LIABLE TO CLIENT OR ANY THIRD PARTY FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION LOSS OF USE, LOSS OF RENTAL INCOME, LOSS OF A SALE, SHOWING OR BOOKING, COSTS OF ANY EVENT, GATHERING OR OCCASION, OR LOSS OF ENJOYMENT, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICES, WHETHER IN CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), WARRANTY OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, EVEN IF WEEKENDER HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

3. Limitation of Liability. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, AND EXCEPT AS PROVIDED IN PARAGRAPHS 4 AND 5, WEEKENDER'S TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICES SHALL NOT EXCEED THE TOTAL AMOUNTS PAID BY CLIENT TO WEEKENDER FOR SERVICES DURING THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS IMMEDIATELY PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.

4. Property Damage. Weekender's obligations for physical damage to Client's real or personal property caused by Weekender in performing the Services are set forth in the Damage section of these Terms and are subject to its notice requirement. Weekender's liability for any such damage shall be, at Client's election, (a) the cost of a comparable replacement item, (b) the value of the damaged item, or (c) the reasonable cost to repair it, and is not subject to the limit in Paragraph 3.

5. Exceptions. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits Weekender's liability for (a) bodily injury or death caused by Weekender's negligence; (b) Weekender's gross negligence, willful misconduct or fraud; or (c) any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including the Arizona Consumer Fraud Act, A.R.S. § 44-1521 et seq. Nothing in these Terms releases Weekender from its duty to exercise reasonable care in performing the Services.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties. EXCEPT FOR THE EXPRESS COMMITMENTS IN THE WEEKENDER RESET PROMISE AND THE DAMAGE SECTION OF THESE TERMS, AND TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WEEKENDER MAKES NO OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE; PROVIDED, HOWEVER, THAT WEEKENDER WILL PERFORM THE SERVICES IN A WORKMANLIKE MANNER. WEEKENDER DOES NOT WARRANT THE REMOVAL OF PRE-EXISTING CONDITIONS, INCLUDING STAINS, OXIDATION, HARD-WATER ETCHING, SUN FADING OR WORN FINISHES.

7. Force Majeure; Exclusive Remedy for Missed Visits. Weekender shall not be liable for any delay in performing, or failure to perform or complete, any Services caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including rain, thunder, lightning, monsoon storms, high winds, dust storms, flooding, dangerous heat, vehicle breakdown or accident, sudden illness or injury of personnel, equipment failure, utility or water outages, road closures, acts of government, public health emergencies or other emergencies (each, a "Force Majeure Event"). Client acknowledges that Weekender does not guarantee performance of Services on any particular date or before any particular event. Client's sole and exclusive remedy for any Services delayed, rescheduled, skipped or not completed because of a Force Majeure Event shall be, at Client's election, rescheduling or cancellation of the affected visit without charge, together with a refund of any amount paid for Services not performed, as provided under Weather and Events Outside Our Control. Nothing in this Paragraph limits Paragraph 5.

8. Governing Law. These Terms, and any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles, and, where applicable, the laws of the United States, regardless of where Client resides.

9. Dispute Resolution. Before filing any claim, the party asserting it shall give the other party a written notice of dispute (a "Notice of Dispute") that includes the sender's name, service address and contact information; a description of the dispute, including the date of any visit involved; and the resolution sought. A Notice of Dispute to Weekender shall be sent as provided in Paragraph 16, marked "Attention: Notice of Dispute." The parties shall attempt in good faith to resolve the dispute for at least thirty (30) days after the Notice of Dispute is received. Except for an individual claim brought in small claims court, a claim may not be filed until a Notice of Dispute has been given and that thirty (30) day period has ended. Any dispute not resolved shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Maricopa County, Arizona, and each party consents to the personal jurisdiction of those courts; provided, however, that either party may bring an individual claim in the small claims division of the appropriate Maricopa County justice court.

10. Attorneys' Fees. In any contested action arising out of these Terms, the court may award the successful party its reasonable attorneys' fees and costs as provided in A.R.S. § 12-341.01.

11. Electronic Records and Signatures. Client agrees that these Terms, and any notice, receipt or other record relating to the Services, may be provided and signed electronically, and that Client's electronic acceptance of these Terms has the same legal effect as a handwritten signature, under the federal Electronic Signatures in Global and National Commerce Act, 15 U.S.C. § 7001 et seq., and the Arizona Electronic Transactions Act, A.R.S. § 44-7001 et seq. Client may request a paper copy of these Terms at any time, at no charge. Any notice that applicable law requires to be delivered on paper, including the notice of cancellation for a sale made at Client's home, will be delivered on paper.

12. Severability; Entire Agreement; No Waiver. If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, it shall be enforced to the maximum extent permissible, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect. These Terms, together with Weekender's Privacy Policy as posted on Weekender's website, which is incorporated herein by reference, any agreement signed at Client's home and any Photo and Video Consent Form signed by Client, constitute the entire agreement between Client and Weekender regarding the Services and supersede all prior understandings. Weekender's failure to enforce any provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of its right to enforce that provision or any other provision later.

13. Amendment. These Terms may be amended only as provided under Changes to These Terms or by a writing issued by Weekender's office. No employee, crew member or agent of Weekender has authority to modify or waive any provision of these Terms orally or on site.

14. Binding Effect; Assignment. These Terms are binding upon and inure to the benefit of the parties and their respective heirs, personal representatives, successors and permitted assigns. Weekender may assign these Terms, without Client's consent, to any successor to all or substantially all of its business or assets, provided that Weekender gives Client written notice of the assignment and Client may end service as provided under When We Change or End Service. Client may not assign these Terms without Weekender's prior written consent.

15. Survival. Provisions that by their nature should survive the end of service, including payment obligations for completed Services, the Reset Promise and Damage sections for visits already performed, gift card balances, and this section, shall survive any termination of service.

16. Notices. Any notice required under these Terms to be given in writing may be given by email. Notices to Weekender shall be sent to hello@weekendercleaning.com or by mail to Weekender LLC, 4539 N. 22nd St. #6272, Phoenix, AZ 85016. Notices to Client shall be sent to the email address associated with Client's account. Notice is effective upon sending, unless the sender receives notice that delivery failed.

17. Authority to Book. Each person who books Services represents that he or she has the authority described under Who Can Book, including, for a realtor or property manager, the homeowner's permission for the visit. A person who books Services without that authority shall indemnify and hold Weekender harmless from any third-party claim, including a claim by the owner or occupant of the property, arising from that unauthorized booking, together with reasonable attorneys' fees and costs.

18. Reviews. Nothing in these Terms prohibits or restricts Client's ability to share an honest review, opinion or assessment of Weekender or its Services, in any form or forum, or imposes any penalty or fee for doing so, consistent with the Consumer Review Fairness Act of 2016, 15 U.S.C. § 45b.
